Letters for me

After I graduated in university and took the board exam, I applied in an ESL school near our house. It was really not my plan to work there because I didn't know at first what jobs they were needing. So,I brought my resume with me and stepped inside the campus. I had my first interview, then my second interview then my third, which was a teaching demonstration. Basically, It's a school which teaches English to non- English speaking students  for at least a week to the maximum months. It's my first application and also my first job. I stayed there for 1 year and 9 months and I really did experienced a lot of things. I learned a lot and I changed a lot. I learned to talk confidently in front of the public which was difficult for me when I was studying in elementary, high school and university. I learned to open myself more, singing in public, dancing in public, hosting in public, etc. It was like, a place which opens my inner self. And together with my learning and happiness are the people in the school and the students whom I've taught.

ADVENTURES

April 7th, I had a lot of firsts, so thus 2 of my friends. We had our first airplane ride, first time in Boracay, first time to do parasailing, first time to do sea walking (which was creepy for me) and the first time to ride flying fish. I think there's more to that but I just can't remember all. Anyways, the adventures that I experienced in the island were really memorable.

Trying to smile to the camera.
I wasn't scared when I had my first airplane ride. I'm not scared of heights so it didn't bother me. But problem was, how to deal with the pressure. I really had ear pain that time. I definitely look disturbed there in the picture. Nevertheless, my first airplane ride was a success.

Having a shot before boarding the plane.

Yes! That's parasailing. We enjoyed our first ride for only 15 minutes but it was really great. We had a good bird's eye view of the whole island while taking pictures of ourselves. Unfortunately, the pictures were not that good so I preferred using these pictures. I was expecting to see whales, dolphins or something but I failed. Even though, it was still one of the most memorable first of my life.

Dipping our feet into the water

"Fly like you have wings attached."

We felt exhausted after the exciting flying fish ride.

Riding flying fish was very dangerous (^_^). But for me, it wasn't. My friends were thrown off the sea cause they couldn't hold on to the straps. Luckily, I was in the center so I had the balance. I can't swim so I was really holding on to the rope (hahaha).
It's flying. It's flying fish.

I was really not enjoying the moment.

I looked very angry. ^^

And last but not the least, the sea walking. Well, honestly, this was the worst experience I had. I was totally shivering already because it was cold and we were already wet from riding the flying fish. We wore a heavy helmet, like 28 kgs but only 2 kgs underwater. The most important thing to remember while wearing the helmet is to maintain the pressure inside so, it's a no no to tilt the helmet. I wasn't able to maintain the pressure at first so I drank a lot of seawater which made me more nervous. I couldn't back out already cause I already paid so I just pursued. The result, I wasn't smiling in the pictures which was totally a minus. But still, it was one of my first adventure, so it's memorable.

The Sunsets of Boracay

My face is totally covered. Against the light!
After staying in Boracay for 2 days and one night, I said to myself, "It was just not enough to fully enjoy the sunset." What I really loved there is the sunset and the very white and fine sands. Since I couldn't stay much longer, I just enjoyed taking pictures of the sunsets. Enjoy!

Me and my friends were waiting.
Couple of minutes before the sunset.

Changing the saturation.

Using the vintage view to accentuate the sun.
The colors did change.

Looks a little foggy there.
